Why it matters
Premium paint applied to a poorly prepared wall is still a poorly prepared wall. Defects show up the moment evening light hits the surface at an angle. A properly taped, properly primed wall, on the other hand, looks flawless under any light — that's the difference your friends will notice without being able to explain it.
